This is a gouache piece I am still working on... inspiration from the garden... and sometimes WORDS can provide your inspiration!!

 

I find a good way to defeat the blank page is to do a contour drawing. Simple objects that you have around the house make perfect subjects. This was not a blind contour but I did not life my pen at all! I also love to draw my dog though I didn't include her in this one as she never stays still very long!! :)
