Thank you for the class. I did actually draw leaves and a branch for the owl to sit on but I wanted a background and when I added this photo I got rid of the branch and leaves because my owl was able to perch perfectly on the branch in the picture! I followed along with the video with illustrator open on my computer and just followed along. I really appreciated the tips on adding the highlights and shadows and also the width tool.  I learned a lot in this class...thank you again!

The Lamb took me a little longer to do.  I found a reference photo of a little lamb and tweaked it (a lot...lol) This was the final result.  Learned a few new things along the way...such as if you draw inside a shape it won't let you use the width tool on the line anymore. I also ended up playing around with the pen tool a lot more and think I'm starting to get a little better at it.
