Shutter Speed: Fast and Slow

This was a great class! Ironically, part way through the lightening section (which is what attracted me) I realized I live in an area that doesn't get much lightening and when we do, it's sheets, not forks... At about the same time, I made several realizations about those iconic 'lightening strikes the Space Needle' pictures you always see, since that really doesn't happen often.

Anyway, that's neither here nor there except to explain why, despite my reason for taking the class, my examples are not - in fact - lightening! Instead I took myself to Kubta Gardens and had a field day with their main water fall. I don't have the best lenses - still at the beginner stage there - but I was still able to get a nice range from freezing droplets to smooth, blurry painting style looks.
