I actually have some of these watercolour pencils laying around, but I never used them with water. So I enjoyed using them properly with some guidance.

I added some more light and texture...

I think these pencils are a good tool if you want to draw but can't use water in the surrounding. In no time you can simply wet everything afterwards :)

Those doors you showed in the beginning look lovely! They remind me of those in the shire.

So I'm tryining them as well ...

Coincidentally I was watching The Lord Of The Rings - The Return Of The King while drawing the apple ^^
