The first videos were real eye-openers in how to approach composition and yet been I been battling exploring ideas until today to find the right theme to explore how to best apply these concepts that you so eloquently communicate, Marco. I admit having following your other Skillshare classed in including Illustrating Children's Books (And beyond) helps me integrate your content easier and gave me source material to play with. 

 

 

 

 

Here is my first study of a BW World War II photo. I thought that the photo was a fantastic example to study composition where the men, with the flag in the foreground and the wrecked buildings in the background.   The foregound took a ridiculous amount of work given the detail but I felt it was important. For the background I reduced the detail and gave it more blurred edges.
