Photography Fundamentals: Composition Techniques to Create Compelling Photos

Hi Diana, These are wonderful compositions, each showing a real understanding of the concepts in the class! Here are a few comments about each photo, and I hope you enjoyed the class as much as I enjoyed looking at your photos. 1. Besides the lovely arrangement of stones in the foreground, I really like the grey colors in both the foreground and background that unify all the elements in the photo. My only suggestion would be to perhaps remove the partial rock that appears on the right of the photo. 2. Beautiful leading lines ... and symmetry 3. I love the mood in this framed view. The bundle of flowers on the windowsill is a nice touch! 4. The way you've split the photo with half rocks / half water may leave the viewer unsure about the "story" you are trying to tell in this photo. If this is about the negative space of the water, I would suggest composing the shot with maybe 3/4 water. Thanks again so much for sharing and I hope these comments are helpful.

Thank you for remarks. I found them very helpful and applied already. The only thing I could do with the "water negative space" was to crop the picture. But on the future I will think of it while photoshooting.
