I loved this style so much, I made another character! I really pushed the shading, lighting, and hair on this one. I stayed close to the original pose, but created my own hands and clothes. Couldn't decide on a background, so I included both of my options. When I showed her to my friend, she commented that it was "Beverly the office gossip" - that gave me a chuckle.

 

 

 

I had SO MUCH FUN! this was such a great class. I am so happy with this, my very first painterly style non chibi portrait. I really made myself get out of my comfort zone and focus on adding depth with texture. I also took a lot of time with the hair (first time trying this style) and I am so happy with the result.
