HIGH CONCEPT

A tiny sparrow entering an abandoned room becomes the visual bridge to a day approximately 20,000 years ago, revealing the struggles, intelligence, cooperation and emotional bonds of an early human community whose experiences were never recorded in written history.

ONE-PAGE SYNOPSIS

ACT I – THE BEGINNING

In a forgotten abandoned room, a tiny sparrow enters through a broken window. As it explores the dusty surroundings, a mysterious sound draws its attention towards an old cupboard. Two tiny shining eyes appear in the darkness. The camera moves closer until the image transitions into another pair of eyes belonging to a human living approximately 20,000 years ago. We enter a world of forests, open landscapes and small mobile human communities. There are no written diaries, recorded dynasties or familiar modern institutions. People survive through observation, communication, cooperation, hunting and gathering. Among them is a young individual who shares a close bond with the members of the travelling group.

ACT II – THE STRUGGLE

As the community moves through the wilderness in search of shelter and resources, an unexpected natural disturbance separates one young member from the others. Fear and uncertainty spread through the group. The remaining members must work together to find the missing individual before darkness takes over the forest. Through gestures, familiar calls, footprints and careful observation of their surroundings, they begin their search. Above them, a little sparrow moves between branches and open spaces, observing their struggle without understanding the human emotions unfolding below. The journey reveals that intelligence, attachment, courage and cooperation were already essential parts of human life long before written records existed.

ACT III – THE CONNECTION

After an exhausting search, the missing member is finally reunited with the community. The group gathers around its fire, sharing food and finding safety together. As morning arrives, they prepare to continue their journey, leaving behind only temporary traces of their existence: footprints, a fading fire and marks on the rock shelter. There are no written records to preserve their individual names or experiences. The camera slowly follows the departing group before returning through a visual transition to the abandoned room. The same sparrow remains near the half-open cupboard. Those two tiny shining eyes are visible once again. The sparrow turns towards them, chirps softly and flies out through the window. The mystery remains.

FINAL THOUGHT

Human experiences existed long before written history. Although countless individual stories were never recorded, their lives were part of
