Mastering Composition: Create Visually Stunning Shots

And indeed what a moment you captured!  memory wise it's perfect, but composition wise it's almost there!  Of course you can't control much where you stand because of the crowd but the tree in front of the building is slightly distracting (we are only taking about small things)  the main piece is the firework so maybe you could crop the picture so it is centered in the middle horizontally.  vertically I would personally say that there is a bit too much negative space, maybe showing a bit more crowd would balance the photo better :) These are just details now, great shot!
