Faster, Fresher, More Exciting: Editing Powerful Videos in Premiere Pro CC

Hi Geraldin, Thanks for submitting this project. On first view, you've done an awesome job! You managed to incorporate almost all the techniques explained in the course. The video has a smooth flow to the editing and to me it feels professionally edited. Some improvements: - You could have played with overlaying shots and changing the blending modes rather than just doing simple cross-dissolves. This process can sometimes be time consuming as there is alot of trial and error involved. But when you get it right, it can be awesome and you can blend two totally unrelated images into something more powerful and with more meaning. You could have blended the cross at 00:06 with the beach view at 00:09 for instance. - The beat of the music is intense but most of the edit is slow paced. I would have liked to see some more fast cutting especially right before the head-shaking earing shot. This would have made the slow-mo feel even more unexpected at this point.  By the way, love how the slow-mo earings worked with the bell twinkle sound, really cool! ;) - In the end, the reverse car on the road shot doesn't fully work for me. The shot is too short and the speed of the reverse too slow. I had to watch it more than once to understand that it was travelling backwards. You could maybe hold the shot longer or make the reverse much faster. Overall, really awesome work. You grasped most of the techniques and I'm sure you can now easily use them on any other projects you edit. Thanks Geraldin! Allan :)
