Hi ... my name is Kim and I am a graphic designer. However, I don't get to design logos very often, so I found this class to be challenging, yet fun. Because I like retro, I chose to design my logo in that style. I guess Retro Woman's superpower would be to keep retro alive and spread retro design throughout the world, creating happy and fun attitudes.

When I have a clear vision of what I want to do, I rarely do sketches. But I did do a mood board and played around with different fonts. Here is my progress:

 

ONE VERSION: Though I liked this one, it seemed too busy to me to be a logo.

 

FINAL VERSION: More simple and yet conveys that mid-century look I was after.
