Phew! Gouache is not my favorite medium, but at long last I think this project is presentable. 😀

I remember a lot of mid-century illustrations being oddly fascinated with French. Not sure why I had to create a shoe, but here it is.

This is my favorite card:

I love this pink; it is a stone-ground pigment from Canada. It's supposed to be gouache but it behaves more like watercolor. That's okay though. 

This was fun too. My "ochre" was way off, but I kept the brown because I liked it.
