Research and change with Queer diveristy within workplace

While my current organsiation is very vocal in terms of working towards acheiving equal rights for LGBT+ people, I want to understand what we are doing internally in order to create a diverse workforce. I have the purpose of making the %'s of LGBt+ vs cis heterosexual people more equal,  and researching what our current percentages are, the barriers that exist that have prevented this equality in the past, as well as working with our current LGBT+ staff to understand the individual needs that each of them have in order the have a better and more well rounded system of support in order to attract and retain employees from that community, amplifying their voices and showing the correct support, with the end goal of having the internal world mirror the outside world.
