Quarantine Color Chips

Esther, thank you so much for sharing this exercise. I'm now over a month into quarantine in my tiny apartment, recently unemployed, and completely alone in a foreign country without my family. I've really struggled with the quarantine, but this exercise (to my surprise) brought me a lot of joy and ideas that have motivated me to use this time to work on some projects that I would otherwise not have the time to do.

I painted about 120 color swatches over 2 days. I was so amazed at the range of colors I could make with even just the slightest mix of colors. I'm not much of a painter, but I've been itching to develop my watercolor skills for a while not but never had the time to focus on it. I now feel a lot more comfortable with the medium and want to keep exploring different classes here on Skillshare to develop my technique.

I had a lot of fun trying to recreate the colors around me both inside and outside my apartment. It was pretty difficult, and I think I'll keep trying to match the colors better in another session (because there will be more!)
