I tried creature design before,but it did not work out well for me. (although I enjoy brainstorming about it) I always felt lost  in the process. Your method of teaching helped me focus on the steps and not get overbored with my ideas. 

 

When I first read "deformed head with one eye" I immediately though that maybe he lost his other eye in a battle or a bar fight. I wasn't sure with the design of the head,so I tried to change the features.

 And here is the final project ( I forgot the battle scars)
