Procreate Watercolors Example Project

Hello everyone!!!

I wanted to share my project for this class so that you can use as an example on how to present it. This project was created whilst filming my latest class: Procreate Watercolors: Let's Paint Roses & Create Botanical Designs!

The class project is divided into two parts, with the second one being optional—but highly encouraged if you want to take your artwork even further.

I completed my project using the Procreate  Watercolor Resources that I created for this class (Brushes, File and Color Palette).

You can access them here: Download Your Class Resources to Complete Your Project

PART 1: Paint Your Botanical Elements

These are my watercolor roses, leaves and smaller plants to complement my final designs!! Hope you like them!

GLAZING TECHNIQUE

Once my botanical elements were ready, I used the glazing technique to modify colors, creating different variations for seasonal themes or alternative color palettes. I loved the result!

1. Summer Version

2.  Autumn Version

At the end of this first part, you’ll have a collection of individual botanical assets saved as PNG images in your Procreate Image Library, ready to use in future designs.

FINAL COMPOSITION

In this step, I brought all my painted elements together into a final composition. I played around with different layouts, color variations, and background choices to make different versions.

Since I was having a lot of fun, I went ahead and made these extra ones in Canva.

I hope you publish yours. I can't wait to see what you create!

All the best,
Silvi
