First decent attempt:

After a few practice runs with other photos, this one feels pretty decent. The class was super helpful! This was done in procreate on an iPad mini with pencil.

Second Attempt

This one had a lot more contrast and intensity, as well as a background. It took a while to get all the proportions right and took a lot of refinement, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Third Attempt: Profile Practice

Took a break from the photos of intense men for profile practice. I think I'm happiest overall with this one because it felt better while doing it and I think I captured the feel of the original the best while giving it my own interpretation.
