I enjoyed this project very much!  I used watercolor paper for the pop-up pieces, and painted with watercolor and acrylic paint pens.  The heavier paper meant I probably didn't need the little brace behind the bouquet, but I ended up attaching one and tucked the back side of it into the same split as the wires for the 2 sets of book page leaves, which worked really well.  These cards are now officially on their way to the birthday girls, and I'm looking forward to making more!
