This class really inspired me. It doesn't look like too much work, but for me, being a beginner, it was a fun weekend project. 

For the footed bowl, I bought a glass bowl from Ikea and spray painted it white.

I went to a local flower market here in The Netherlands and chose my flowers with the elements mentioned in the video in mind, working with what was available.

At first it bothered me that I couldn't find the right flowers, but it enabled me to focus on implementing the concepts of depth, asymmetry, negative space and creating a light and dark side more instead of replicating the arrangement.

I really learned a lot from this and I am pleased with the result. Thanks so much! I look forward to another class, Darroch and Michael!
