Perfect class for newbies! - image 3 - student projectthank U so much for this great class, I have been trying to paint roses on and off since I started watercolour about 12minths ago, and it's always been a bit of a struggle. I felt I advanced with your class and got over the technical part and now it'll be about practice, now I know what I'm doing! I left U a review becoz I was so impressed with your class and how you took us thru each stage of this. I really think the whole class was pitched perfectly! Thank k you so much for your help with this, I look forward to trying more classes from u!, and trying a mixed bouquet! It really is much harder than it looks and ,like everything I suppose, takes a lot of practice. But finally, thanks to you I got my first rose bouquet finished that I actually thought wasn't too bad. I was to scared to add some bits because I didn't want to ruin it having come so far lol!! But I will absolutely try it again. The composition is perfect to experiment with. Thank U again!

Ps, I found, that when I would do a few layers, then come in to smooth the edges, I would instantly create a bloom, or ruin my petal with extra water...I guess it's a clean brush but with the smallest of water, and i kept using too much! So when I did the bouquet, I decided not to smooth edges, coz I kept ruining them. But I won't stop trying this technique as it's lovely. Any advice appreciated!
