This is a little out of my comfort zone. I'm trying to loosen up as well as improve my pen and ink sketches, so this course seemed worth a try.

Here are my three thumbnail sketches of Cromer Lighthouse.

The top sketch was done in fine liners, the middle one was using a brush pen then the bottom one is a stand Bic ballpoint pen with purple colour pencil on top.

Each of the above took about 10 minutes each.

I also sketched these but worked bigger and took a bit more time over them. All sketches are of Lismore Lighthouse...

Really I was just playing with the fine liners and brush pen at this point and wanted to see how using different pens would change what I drew.
