Hi Melissa, 

 

I sketched this pattern and wanted to bring it to life in Illustrator - but I struggled with it unless I manually copy and pasted it which is not a bad idea either :) but here is the plan and work in progress! 

I might take on another pattern that's easier to recreate but I am loving this one so far!
