My friend’s platter was so beautifully done that I had to paint it. Notice how popular the chocolate and chocolate chip cookies were - the empty space on the plate as a result of their removal.  =) And I love how the choc chips make happy faces on the cookies! Thanks for the platter, Deb! <3

A relaxing winter day in Western Australia.

Breakfast of pancakes and coffee, followed by a visit to the shops for daughter’s pants, then a movie at home. It is freezing and whenever I’m at home, I live mostly in my oodie (thick fluffy blanket designed as an oversized hooded pullover) and sometimes beanie.

Painting my goldfishes that live in the back pond. They are hardy - it’s winter here with temp going down to a few degrees Celsius and they live through happily.  Very meditative not only to look at but also to draw and paint.
