Painting Holiday florals in Spring, who else is painting them?

How does it sound to you? To paint Holiday Florals in Spring, in a blooming Spring? Sounds weird, right? But, I needed it. I needed Amarilys Guidance to work on Reds, on several hues of the reds.

As you will see, I had no any reference, no any reference photo taken, I am even hardly  recalling how those flowers look like, because, yee, we are in a spring right now. And spring vibes are around.

So, I painted these two miniature Holiday Florals cards by watching Amarilys and solely watching on a screen. Have learnt working with hues of red by not making them muddy brown in shadow area.

Highly recommending if you need to work with big contract colors for your project, for example, in red and greens.

Have a look at my project, my learning journey and take a class, if you still haven't decided yet.
