Begin Your Art Journey: Pencil Sketching Basics | Easy Steps to Get Started

Hey Wimzy, i am so glad you took your first step towards creating art. So proud of you. You clearly have great potential. I loved the contrast in your sketches, and your sketching is quite neat and clear. It's wayy better than my first attempt :) next time, maybe you can use a smoother paper, maybe even a printing paper for better results, because watercolor paper has a bit of texture to it. Some people use it for sketching as well, some choose a finer paper, all depends on your choice. Also, you can use cotton swab or blending sticks to smoothen out the strokes of your sketch, if thats your vibe.   Thanks for taking my class, hope u enjoyed it.
