I have been struggling with taking action on inspiration. I see a lot of things that inspire me or make me feel like creating, but I don't do it. I make excuses like "it's a chore to get my materials out", or "I don't know how to draw", or "I suck at colors so I should go learn color theory first."

So now I am just taking out my watercolor notebook and putting lines down that I can color in. Maybe I don't feel like filling up a cup with water for my brushes, so I'll just use my waterbrush for now. 

This palm tree aloha pen has been sitting on my desk, so I tried to paint it.

 

I find flowers inspiring. I should get reference photos.

In this, I was inspired by colors and wanted to try to paint them.
