This deckling tool has been hanging around my ruler drawer for ages, usually on the bottom of the other tools. You inspired me, Denise, to dig it out.  The tool has two sides and is 12” long. One side tears a more delicate deckle than the other. Sold by Stampin’ Up, called “The Tearing Edge". 

Tip: I read somewhere that deckling can be accomplished with water , a straightedge and a paintbrush. Wet the brush in the water and use it to dampen then tear the area you want deckled. It works. Probably works if used around an oddly shaped object, like a bowl or candleholder. Might be worth exploring….
