This is after the second layer, as you can see the bottom is very glossy, though I painted most of that two days ago.  I used gamsol  and stand oil for mediums, 5 parts gamsol to 1 part stand oil for 1st layer and 50/50 for second.  I put my medium in a small lid and just dip my brush in a little before picking up paint but I must have picked up a big glob of stand oil when doing that section. I plan on letting it dry then reworking. Thank you for your fun, informative class!
