Hi my name is Art Rodriguez and am enjoying life in New York City.  This city offers a ton of opportunities and subjects to capture.  I am trying to increase my photo taking and editing skills.  Here are my submissions, hope you enjoy them.

1. Candid

Still working on having the courage to take photos of people while facing them.  For now, I managed to get this shot of a lady hailing a cab in downtown 6th Ave.

2. Blur

This shot took a lot of tries but I finally got one I was happy with.  I really like that I was able to capture the driver's profile.  It was interesting seeing peoples reactions to what I was doing as I was paning very fast at the cars flying past.

3. Look-Up

Took this in midtown at Rockefeller Center. Have always enjoyed this statue and really liked capturing the building behind it.

4. Night

My attempt at the other motion blur technique on Broadway in SoHo

Really enjoyed the course and learned a ton from the techniques shown.  Hope you enjoy my shots
