Not Today by Twenty One Pilots

Not today is a story of a musician who prioritizes his career over love.
The main character is a frontman who lives in the loft room.
He composes his music there.
In the first scene we can see him writing songs, doodling, playing guitar.
At some point he gets up and looks through the window, thinking intensely.
At the same time he gets multiple messages from some girl.
When he stands by the window the camera captures his phone on the desk that gets notifications every 2 seconds.
He completely ignores the phone and comes back to work.
We can read the messages:
‘today?’ ‘hello?’ ‘r u there?’
The next scene presents the frontman with his band.
They play at the charity fair. They are intensely focused on their work, but also have a lot of fun. You can tell they love it.
The frontman’s phone lies on his backpack behind the scene, the notifications are still popping up.
With the lines ‘You aren’t seeing my side’ we can see two faces – Boy’s and Girl’s – combined in one.
The next chorus, the next concert – this time on the beach.
The band attracts attention of people around. They gather near the scene.
The girl is also there. The frontman notices her, waves shyly, and focuses back on playing music.
The band even plays in the forest. They practice as much as possible,
make a noice as big as possible, and the frontman wants to run away as far as possible.
We come back to the beach scenes. The band sings, the public accompanies them during the final choir ‘bah bah bah’.
At the end the band packs their instruments. Way back they find a bottle with a message. The frontman opens it and finds a message saying ‘should’ve done it earlier’.
