Watercolour Landscape painting: Northern Lights - Aurora Borealis, Sky and Snow for All Levels

Christine this is lovely. It looks like the beautiful, glowing, shifting lights of the aurora borealis. Mine got a little apocalyptical. lovely little cozy cabin and snow too.

Hi Christine - I think these wintry scenes suit you well! Some lovely glowing colours in the sky, and I like the way you've reflected them on the house rooftop and snow. The whole scene has a warm glow about it and works really well. It lovely just as it is, but a teeny tiny suggestion would be to use a smaller brush next time you spatter paint (or masking fluid) for snowflakes so that they are little bit smaller in size.
