Hand Lettering Techniques: Exploring Letterforms Through Monograms

This works just as well as an outline monogram as it does with the 2 colours. Really strong design. It would be cool to see you take it one step further and maybe add a bit of shadow or graphic lighting to emphasize the overlap areas. :)

Hey Dean,  Great work! I especially like your attention to detail in showing deciding which parts of each letter overlap and which ones are recessed.  I'm looking forward to seeing more variations!

I wanted to make&nbsp;a classic slab-serif&nbsp;monogram for the area of Sydney I live in&mdash;the North Shore. The colours are based on the iconic ferries that operate in the area.
