Thank you so much for this valuable class, Barbara. I loved it.

I have to admit, I watched you drawing first and then watched again to draw with you. It helped a lot to think in shapes first and then try to work out a composition considering rules and dynamics.

This is how I started:

The colouring was the hardest part. It looked soooo easy in your demonstration.  

Now here is my result.

 

Thanks Barbara for the helpful tips. If there is a way for a class to go into color in illustrations, that would be fantastic. Just the process of coloring for the illustration you show in this class alone would be super exciting. Maybe there is a chance for a follow-up.
