Thank you! Enjoying the work, but really struggled with the montage! I don’t think my brain works well like that.

The montage is hard for many of us! That's why it's the last stamp in the set and not the first! I think you handled it really well. If it helps, you can think of the Montage as a variation of the flatlay, where instead of spacing your symbols apart, you compose them as a group of overlapping symbols and elements. The question is what is it that holds the elements together? Is it a containing shape? A line or thread of some kind? Are all the elements centred around a beautifully illustrated word/lettering?

When you get stuck for how to do something like this, it's always a good idea to see how others do it. Look at your fellow classmates and of course go to pinterest and look up "Montage illustration". 

Either way, I think you did a good job of making a montage that fits into the feeling of the other pieces in the set.

The US is too broad so I chose New Mexico. My parents meet there, my siblings born there. Georgia Okeefe and Alexander Girard have connections there. Each time I visit I feel a magnetic pull to go back.
