This pattern design was inspired by a recent trip to New Mexico. I was born in California and live there now, but I spent several years of my childhood in Santa Fe, NM, and it still feels like my second home. 

On my last trip to Santa Fe, I purchased a tiny blue ceramic bowl from an artist in the Plaza, and it became the centerpiece of this design. I added some flowers that are native to both California and New Mexico - California poppies and Blue Fiesta Flowers. 

I did two versions of my pattern, one a tossed layout with more white background and one a tighter all-over design. I'm interested in hearing which one you all prefer! :)
