Honestly I suck at photography, your class was just what I needed to get started. Now that the world is mostly indoors, home spaces are more important than ever. And this is the base of the story for my picture, I photographed my favorite corner of the house. A place that lets me think, breathe and relax.

As for the photo itself, I don't have an iPhone, but I was still able to follow the class. I turned on the grid (first time I ever thought of looking for a grid on my phone), turned on HDR and tried to find a nice perspective. My goal was to set the bamboo tree on the right side intersection points and use the negative space on top of the couch to bring out all the elements of the scene.

I'm not so good at editing but in the end I just enhanced the brightness a bit, reduced the contrast and this is the final result.
