My key takeaway

One of the most valuable lessons I learned from this course on communication with inclusivity is the importance of responding instead of reacting. Reacting often comes from impulse, emotion, or assumption, which can unintentionally exclude or hurt others. Responding, on the other hand, means pausing, listening carefully, and considering diverse perspectives before speaking. This small shift creates space for empathy, respect, and more inclusive conversations where everyone feels heard and valued.
