My first (complete) lettering project
I've liked typography and lettering since I was a child, filling the pages of my school diary with hand-drawn words and letters to pass the time during boring classes.
The course was very interesting; some things weren't new to me, but I had never attempted to complete a lettering project from start to finish. It was very stimulating.
I also managed to overcome the perfectionism obsession and let go once the project seemed finished, telling myself, "It's the first one, it's okay. Surely the next ones will be better."
Here some of the project's process:
My initial sketches and research on type, composition and botanical illustration.

Then the final sketch and proof color.

And eventually, the final illustration :)
