What a perfect small project to start and learn knitting with. I had to watch some more videos to get to understand the basic stitches and overall it took me (as a not talented person with yarn and needles) nearly a month to get to a first version, but it was a lot of fun to see the progress and in the end even start to understand some of the yarns behaviour. 

For my first scunchie the knitted piece had so many mistakes that I skipped over how to properly sew the sides togteher and that just made it worse, but for the second one this turned out mutch better and it was fun to see how the sewing fixed some of my issues with too loose areas.

Lesson learned: patientce until the end :)
