Colouring With Markers - Create Texture & Effects

Hi Kaddi,I think you are forever captured with markers now, am I right? I love your winter essentials collage! I was so happy to see this project and all of your posts on Instagram. Made my day!And I can see that you have really picked up the techniques from class, using them in varied ways. I can see a budding children's book illustration artist, you have something going here!The way you've created variation, contrast and texture in that scarf, socks, gloves and the tree for example is beautiful and so inspiring. Now I want to do a winter collage too :-).Keep going, I want to see more of course!I also want to give you a challenge, a next step to work on: Experiment with creating even more contrast by using even darker shades for the areas that have the deepest shadows. It's fun to see how an illustration can pop out from the paper when we dare to use darker tones. Just apply a little bit at a time, blend with the second darkest tone and see how it comes out.
