My Watercolor Mood Board

I started by getting my watercolor supplies together plus other art supplies I wanted to use for my project.

I downloaded the Class Workbook, and filled out the Theme Worksheet. It helped me get clear about my theme and think of some related words to use as my subject matter.

I selected a color palette that worked with my theme.

Then I decided on a layout and sketched all my mood board elements.

I painted my background. This isn't required, but I wanted to really highlight the colors for this project.

I painted my main elements.

I also painted my additional elements.

Then I did some outlining with a black Micron pen size 08, to give my paintings a sharper look.

I put it all together by assembling all the elements on the background, keeping my layout mini model close by for reference.

All done! This mood board is my visual story of what it's like living in the desert, but I can make one for just about anything. :-)
