Heroes of Olympus: The House of Hades - by Rick Riordan

I love the humor and action in it, and all the characters genuinely felt like real people, making the emersion terrific. Also, I'm a massive fan of mythology, so this ticks all my boxes.

 

Shatter Me - by Tahereh Mafi

I thoroughly enjoyed the world and environments in this book, along with Juliette's ability, and how they worked that into the story. It had me curiously wondering what may happen next.

 

You've Reached Sam - by Dustin Thao

Beautiful. The type of book that made me feel for the characters right from the beginning and genuinely had me feeling emotional. It puts you in the mindset of a real life situation that any of us can experience at any time. The loss of a loved one.
