My Public Speaking Journey – From Nervous to Confident

When I started this course, I was unsure about my speaking skills and often felt nervous in front of an audience. Through the practical lessons and challenges, I learned how to structure my thoughts, manage stage presence, and speak with confidence.

SWOT Reflection:

  • Strengths: Clear articulation and ability to connect with the audience.
  • Weaknesses: Initial stage fright and pacing issues.
  • Opportunities: Improved visibility at work, better leadership communication.
  • Threats: Time constraints and tech glitches.

Big Day:
I applied these skills during a recent team meeting where I presented a new idea. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and I felt more confident than ever.

Advice for Beginners:
Start small, practice often, and embrace feedback. Confidence grows with every attempt!

Future Opportunities:
I now see myself taking on more speaking roles in meetings and possibly hosting webinars.
