Here's the second-to-last page:
And here's the final-final page as we rolled into Seattle! :D
Whew. This road trip was so fun, and we saw so much as we drove from North Carolina to Seattle. We were completely exhausted at the end, and are so happy to finally be in our new home city.
THANK YOU!
If you're ever in this beautiful, wonderful city, shoot me a message and let's meet up for coffee!

Update 9: July 3, 2018
We made it to Seattle! Woohoo! But I've still got a couple travel sketchbook pages left to draw and share! Some days I split into two pages, but just drew one page per day, so I'm a tad behind. But that's ok! This way allowed me to get all the info and memories recorded without overwhelming myself.
Here's where I drew this morning:
Here's the illustrations only:
And here's the final page!
The last 2 pages are comin' up next! :D

Update 8: July 2, 2018

Update 7: July 1, 2018
Happy July! Whew-wee, we're really movin' along now! I'm starting to get a little woozy and tired, but we've still got a few more days to go and lots more to see! Just need to remember to leave time to relax and unwind each day. :)
Here's the illustrations only of today's page:
And here's the final page! :D

Update 6: June 30, 2018
Back on track! Here's where I drew this morning—at 6am! I wanted to finish the page before the Argentina/France World Cup game came on, and we're watching it now! :D
Here's where I drew today:
And here's my final page! Madison, Wisconsin was surprisingly awesome, and I would definitely go back. We had such a great time and the city is so charming! :D

Update 5: June 29, 2018
And now for today's post! I think this one turned out really well, and I'm so glad because Chicago might have been my favorite day so far! What an amazing city! :D
Here's my drawing buddy this morning:

Update 4: June 29, 2018
Whoopsies! I drew my sketchbook page yesterday, but didn't have time to post it before we left the hotel that morning! Then we were driving, exploring, and eating all day until 11pm and then I crashed in bed without posting the update here! Welp, ya know, that's what happens when I don't do it in the morning—it doesn't get done! Anyways, here's yesterdays post!
Here's where I drew this morning:
And here's the final page!

Update 3: June 27, 2018
Good morning! I'm finally settling into my routine, and getting these pages done each morning! I'm also much happier with how this second page turned out compared to the first. It always takes a little time to get into the groove and get the feel of how the pages want to be!
Here's where I drew this morning—you can see I wasn't lying about drawing while everyone else sleeps! :)
Here's my drawn illustrations:
And here's the final page!
Thanks again for following along! Now we're off to explore and go for a run before we have to get on the road again for the next stop! :D

Update 2: June 26, 2018
Here we are with round two! I'm already a little behind, but it's always hard to get into the routine the first couple days. But don't worry, I'm back on track and I'm here drawin' and postin' in the morning as planned!
Here's where I drew this morning:
Here's my page design illustrations:
And here's the final first page!
And now I've got to run because it's 9:08 and we were supposed to leave the hotel here at 9:00 to get to Indiana to watch the World Cup games at 2:00! Here we goooooo! :D

Update 1: June 25, 2018
Hey guys! Thanks so much for taking this class! I'm so excited about this class and this road trip and can't wait to share my pages from my travel sketchbook with you here AND hopefully see some pages from you guys!
Ok, so let's jump right into the first day!
I'm currently in Columbus, Ohio! I aim to stick with my plan of drawing in the mornings as I talked about in the class. So here I am doin' stuff in the morning at the hotel! (Although I snuck in a little extra drawing last night because I had a lot of energy too.)
PS: The hashtag I'm using for this sketchbook is: #MightCouldGoesWest
Here are the tools I'm using for this travel sketchbook:
- Moleskin Classic Sketchbook
- Tombow Dual-Brush Pens (one in black, and one in light blue)
Here's where I sat down to draw for the day:
Here's where we're going on our trip (and the reference I used for my title page):
And here's the title page for my new travel sketchbook!
Woohoo! We're on our way! I'll be updating this project each day as we travel along and as I draw through my travel sketchbook! Another update should be coming later today with the first official page and our time in Ohio!
Thanks so much for joining this class and following along. I'd love to see some drawings from you guys too, and feel free to ask any questions either here on this project, or on the class discussion page! :D
Talk more soon!
