Empathy map for a skateboarder based in INDIA

 

**Says:**

- "I love the feeling of freedom and exhilaration when I'm skating through the streets."

- "It's tough to find good skateboarding spots here, but I'm always on the lookout."

- "I wish more people understood that skateboarding is a real sport and takes a lot of skill."

 

**Thinks:**

- "I hope I can improve my tricks and land that difficult flip."

- "I need to be cautious of traffic and pedestrians while skating on the streets."

- "I wish there were more skate parks in my city to practice and connect with other skaters."

 

**Does:**

- Practices tricks for hours to perfect them.

- Explores the city to discover new and challenging spots for skating.

- Connects with other skateboarders online and participates in local skateboarding events.

 

**Feels:**

- Excited and alive when nailing a new trick.

- Frustrated when not able to find suitable places to skate.

- Happy to be part of a community that shares the same passion.

 

**Pains:**

- Dealing with the disapproving looks of people who don't understand skateboarding.

- The lack of proper infrastructure and skate parks in the area.

- Occasionally getting injured while attempting advanced tricks.

 

**Gains:**

- Improved skating skills and confidence.

- A sense of belonging by connecting with fellow skaters.

- The thrill of exploring the city in a unique way.

 

This empathy map is a generalization and might not reflect the experience of every skateboarder in India but i tried :/
