I had such fun making these cards. I didn't care for the plain white backgrounds, so added splatters and even played with a painted plaid for one. This was a great project to help me get out of a creative funk.

Photo below- My first card with the plain background, one with a watercolor plaid, and others with platters of coordinating colors. I used metallic gel pens for the writing, ribbons and stars, and even pulled out some pearler pens (pearlescent paint in pen-like applicators) to add a bit of shimmer, which doesn't show well in photos.
