My Barbecued Pulled Pork

This is the featured recipe in the class.
I came up with this recipe after eating a lot of bland pulled pork. :-) I don't know about you, but if I'm going to cook at home and *especially* if I'm going to smell it all day, it better taste amazing!
The good thing for you, is that I have literally made thousands of meals now in my slow cooker, and I really do think the number one secret is to cook this way: by braising the meat instead of drowning it.
I've served this pulled pork many, many times to hungry guests and they've always been thrilled! I like to have an assembly line of toppings available: soft hoagie rolls, sliced cheese (provolone or swiss is a hit) jalapeño peppers, and shredded cabbage (or cole slaw).
We happen to be a gluten-free family due to an allergy, so everything in this particular recipe and in my books/website are gluten-free. That said, most of my readers are NOT gluten free, so I keep my notes off to the side.
