I really enjoyed the class and watched the videos several times, then tried to paint from the photo, because I want to improve my skill at painting directly from photos.

The paper really held me back, as the paint did not absorb, and subsequent layers pulled up the previous color too much. It felt like I was working with gouache at times.  Might do it over on Arches.
