This project was my first experience with knitting of any kind. Cara made the process simple and easy to understand. I was able to complete this project in under an hour with two skeins of Lion Brand Madison Mustard yarn. The entire project cost me under 7 dollars, and I am very happy with the results. I used both skeins simultaneously to create a thicker stitch (as I was unable to find any size 7 yarns at my local vendor). I need to work on keeping my arms closer together while transferring the loops from one arm to the other, as my stitches on the ends of my cowl are quite large. Overall, a very informative class and a fun project -- I would highly suggest this one! The finished cowl is approximately 5 feet long.
