Helen, I had a little trouble with the effects of the drop shadow. I lost the shadow of the back leg. Can you explain a little further as to how the shadow should remain the same when copied from a previous layer? I found I had to add it to each new layer, but then when I made changes, it changed all the other layers, that is how I believe I lost the shadow on the back leg. Does this make any sense?
Also, I wanted to make the inside of the ear pink, but every time I thought I had it selected, it turned the entire layer pink. Do you think I have the order of the layers incorrect.
I haven't added his whiskers yet. I figured I could use a very thin rectangle filled with the dark color to make them.
I used Puppet Warp on the tail to make it move in the direction I wanted. One other thing I learned while playing was that you can warp the preset shapes that ship with PS. I found a cat image and warped it to look more like a fox. This has been a great class.
